The Dean has leadership and administrative responsibilities for the Division and oversees its day-to-day operations, including student queries, staffing, budget, employee matters, and other requests. He/she ensures that the programmes of study assigned by the Academic Council are conducted in accordance with institutional policies and procedures. The initial appointment will be for five (5) years and is renewable for three (3) years.

Requirements

A Master's degree in at least one of the disciplines offered in the Division of Arts & Science from an accredited/recognized university (doctorate preferred). A demonstrated track record of promoting excellence in teaching in post-secondary education. Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills. General knowledge of faculty duties and responsibilities. The ability to negotiate and build professional relationships. Administrative service and leadership experience is preferred.
