Artex, Gallagher's wholly-owned subsidiary for alternative risk and capital, including fund administration, is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual for the position of Head of Underwriting Advisory for our Bermuda office. The successful applicant will have responsibility for the strategic oversight, governance, and continued development of Artex Capital Solutions' owned and managed transformation platforms. Responsibilities include providing strategic leadership, overseeing performance and operating effectiveness, serving as a subject matter expert, and leading complex advisory engagements.

Requirements

A recognized professional insurance or reinsurance qualification (e.g., CPCU, ACII, ARe). A minimum of eight years of relevant experience within the insurance, reinsurance, insurance-linked securities, or alternative risk-transfer sectors. Demonstrated experience designing, structuring, underwriting, or executing sophisticated transactions. Extensive knowledge of reinsurance structures and contractual wordings. Experience overseeing or advising transformation vehicles or alternative capital platforms.
