The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Strategic Projects will play a key role in directing and coordinating enterprise-wide financial processes to promote consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence across all regions. The role provides a holistic view of Finance operations and supports the planning and execution of key finance-wide engagements, including leadership meetings, town halls, and team off sites. Working in close partnership with the VP, Strategic Finance, the Data & Analytics team, and broader Finance functions, the AVP will help enable well-integrated, effective, and data-driven financial operations. This position reports to the VP, Strategic Projects (Finance).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting is required; Operations or Project Management a plus. 7+ years of professional experience in insurance or financial services industry; experience in a fast-paced, high-growth organization preferred. Strong knowledge of (re)insurance or other financial markets. Knowledge of audit processes and regulatory compliance. Skilled in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other office applications. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find and implement solutions for improvement. Highly organized, detailed oriented with outstanding organizational and planning abilities. Strong project management skills with an ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaborator with a proven ability to build trusted relationships.
