The Head of New Business Development will manage the continuing development and implementation of all policies governing the company's underwriting and pricing activities, and interface closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to review, update and approve these policies to ensure they remain current and relevant. General duties include coordinating and prioritizing the underwriting and pricing process of life and annuity products, providing a strategic approach to prospecting new business opportunities, and coordinating global sales expansion strategies.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in mathematics, actuarial, or similar numeric discipline.
Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries or similar internationally recognized body.
10+ years of experience in an actuarial capacity within the re/insurance arena.
Expert knowledge of re/insurance industry trends.
Previous work experience in international reinsurance or a multinational reinsurer preferred.
Demonstrated ability to identify, negotiate, and cultivate new business opportunities.
Demonstrated experience liaising with and presenting to executive management and boards of directors.
