Pillar Capital Management Limited (“Pillar”) is a Bermuda-based reinsurance and investment manager overseeing an affiliated Class 3 reinsurer and multiple investment funds. Pillar is seeking a Tax & Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support the firm’s tax and regulatory reporting, investor tax documentation, and compliance and CRM data processes. This role is suited for someone who takes an analytical, questioning approach to their work, who is comfortable working through underlying financial data, understanding how it should flow into tax and regulatory reporting, and engaging directly with external tax advisers, auditors, regulators, and investors. The role will report to the AVP Tax & Compliance and work closely with the CCO, COO, finance, investor relations, underwriting, external tax advisers, auditors, fund administrators, and legal counsel.

Requirements

Professional accounting designation, such as CPA, CA, ACA, or equivalent, is required. 2–6 years of relevant tax, audit, accounting, financial reporting, fund administration, insurance/reinsurance, asset management, or broader financial services experience is required. Exposure to investor tax documentation, FATCA/CRS, IRS filing support, PFIC reporting, Forms 5471/1120-F, Bermuda CIT, tax credits, economic substance, investment funds, or cross-border tax reporting would be an asset. Strong Excel and financial data skills are required; experience with macros, VBA, automation, data validation, CRM systems, or AI-enabled tools would be an asset. Strong attention to detail, organization, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Practical judgment and willingness to learn across tax, compliance and related workstreams. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Ability to work overtime from time to time.
