InEvo Re is a Bermuda-based life reinsurer, 100% owned by the Macquarie Group. Reporting to the Head of Origination, the Origination Actuary will support the pricing and structuring of asset-intensive life reinsurance transactions from initial client engagement through to execution and post-close management, and will contribute to the development of new reinsurance offerings for our target markets.

Requirements

Qualified actuary (FIA, FSA or equivalent) with a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in Life (re)insurance. Experience pricing asset-intensive life reinsurance transactions. Working knowledge of the Bermuda regulatory regime (SBA, EBS and BSCR) and Solvency II, US Statutory or IFRS 17. Experience modelling private and illiquid asset portfolios. Proficiency in actuarial projection and pricing software and advanced Excel/VBA; experience with Python or R. Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or Finance.
