Artex, Gallagher's wholly-owned subsidiary for alternative risk and capital, including fund administration, is a trusted leader and provider of diverse alternative risk and capital solutions. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual for the position of Assistant Vice President (AVP), Transaction Operations in our Bermuda office. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Transaction Operations, the successful applicant will have responsibility for all day-to-day operational aspects of a large, sophisticated reinsurance portfolio comprising Insurance Linked Securities companies and segregated account transactions. Responsibilities include contributing to a team of Transaction Operations professionals, maintenance of investor and broker relationships, improving reporting quality, and ensuring prompt execution of reinsurance agreements.

Requirements

An internationally recognized accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA). At least 3 years' recent (re)insurance experience in financial reporting or accounting with a (re)insurer, Insurance Manager or audit firm. Technical knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP including an excellent understanding of insurance and investment accounting standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with working knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI or Business Objects.
