Artex, Gallagher's wholly-owned subsidiary for alternative risk and capital, including fund administration, is a trusted leader and provider of diverse alternative risk and capital solutions. We are seeking motivated and dynamic individuals for the positions of Account Executive, Insurance Management in our Bermuda office. The successful applicants will be responsible for providing all aspects of the day-to-day management services to a portfolio of insurance linked security entities. Responsibilities include providing accounting and administrative services, monitoring compliance, drafting management accounts and IFRS/GAAP financial statements, and coordinating regulatory filings.

Requirements

An internationally recognized accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA). At least 18 months recent (re)insurance experience in financial reporting or accounting with a (re)insurer, Insurance Manager or audit firm. Knowledge of the Bermuda regulatory environment would be advantageous. Detailed knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP including an excellent understanding of insurance and investment accounting standards. Strong financial reporting and analytical skills. Advanced computer literacy skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent verbal, written, organizational skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
