Post holder works under the general direction of the Senior Medical Officer, to assure the effective and efficient provision of correctional and detainee medical services; preventive health services for uniformed officers (Police, Corrections & Fire services); occupational health services (including pre-employment health assessments for uniformed services); and forensic medicine services.

Requirements

Minimum Education Qualifications: Medical degree (M.D.; M.B.,B.S.; M.B.,CH.B. or D.O.). Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Bermuda Medical Council. Must have valid Basic Life Support or CPR for Health care Worker certification. Must have Forensic Medicine Training or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment. Minimum Experience Required: Minimum of five (5) years' relevant post-graduate experience with experience in occupational medicine.
