Under the general direction of the Registrar of Supreme Court and Court of Appeal / Taxing Master (Registrar), in accordance with the established policies, procedures and relevant legislation, the post holder undertakes operational and administrative duties within the Registry, which includes but is not limited to processes related to the management and coordination of all court proceedings, financial duties, providing administrative services to the Judiciary as well as the management and supervision of court personnel. The post holder also sits as the Acting Registrar and performs associated duties as required.

Requirements

Must be a qualified Barrister and/or Attorney of a Commonwealth jurisdiction. Must be a member of the Bermuda Bar Association or be eligible for Membership with a minimum of eight (8) years’ post-qualification experience in a legal environment. Strong customer service orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, time management skills, analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills, leadership and supervisory skills, organizational skills, and strong computer literacy.

$179951.41 per year
