Under the direction of the Director of Planning (Building Official), the post is accountable for the administration of the applicable building control legislation, building codes and construction related regulations and for managing the building control functions of the Department. Responsibilities include examination of plans, processing of applications, inspections, issuing permits, and managing operational and financial planning.
Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Surveying or a related discipline. Five years relevant experience in building operations and five years management experience.
