We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven and technically strong Property Insurance Underwriter to support the continued growth of Convex's Property Insurance portfolio within our Bermuda platform. This role will focus on underwriting and leading Property business, developing strong market relationships, and identifying new opportunities to support the profitable growth and continued development of Convex's Property capabilities. Essential responsibilities include underwriting property business in accordance with delegated authority levels, setting terms, managing relationships with internal/external stakeholders, and working with digital underwriting teams to drive growth.

Requirements

Experienced Property Insurance underwriter with a minimum of 5-years Primary US Property underwriting experience. Professional qualifications (ACII or CPCU) are an advantage. Robust numerical and analytical skills with a data-led mindset. Proven ability to nurture relationships with brokers. Able to meet existing and potential clients both in Bermuda and abroad via business travel.
