Prismic Life is looking for a Head of EBS Valuation. The Head of EBS Valuation will be responsible for managing and maintaining Bermuda reporting and reserving requirements for the Vehicle's liabilities, including underlying data, assumptions and methods. These activities will be carried out in accordance with BMA regulatory rules and Bermuda accounting frameworks and in an appropriate control environment. This position reports directly to the Chief Actuary. The Head of EBS Valuation will operate out of Bermuda more than 75% of the time. Key Responsibilities include: Lead economic balance sheet (EBS) reserve determination as a subject matter expertise on the Scenario-based approach (SBA); Managing and maintaining the Bermuda reporting requirements in accordance with BMA regulatory rules and Bermuda accounting frameworks; Work with partners to complete annual Bermuda filing (SFS, EBS and BSCR) and support the Appointed Actuary's opinion and audited financial statements; Review and validate liability cash flows for valuation; Lead the actuarial team to produce risk metrics supporting risk dashboard and risk assessment; Engage with asset management teams to model investment portfolios, support optimization of strategic asset allocation, ALM, and hedging strategies; Manage the engagement of internal and external service providers supporting actuarial activities.
