The AVP, Senior Pricing Actuary leads the actuarial pricing function. Reporting to the VP, Actuary and Pricing, this role serves as the primary lead across new deal underwriting and pricing, which may include asset-intensive block and flow transactions, flow pricing for US retail annuity business, and flow pricing for Asia-Pacific (APAC) business. The successful candidate will bring a strong quantitative background, deep expertise in asset-intensive pricing, and the judgment to present rate proposals and strategic recommendations effectively to senior management and the board.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with a strong quantitative background in mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related discipline. FSA or equivalent actuarial credential (e.g., FIA, FIAJ) required. 10+ years of actuarial or insurance experience. Experience in asset-intensive reinsurance pricing and/or valuation of US and APAC business. Experience with a market value based regulatory regime (e.g. Bermuda EBS, Solvency II). Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical work clearly to senior management and the board.
