Our client, Kryger Capital, is seeking a Trading/Investment Analysts to work in it's Bermuda office. In this role, you will be a fundamental part of its successful long-standing Investment Team. Key Responsibilities include: Analyse and research event-driven opportunities and equity markets; Communicate effectively with the Investment Team and advising on market developments, portfolio positioning and risk levels/exposures; Actively contribute to the investment decision-making process; Source, evaluate and monitor investment opportunities in respect of corporate events; Take ownership of trade structuring, execution and pre and post trade monitoring; Develop new and maintain existing relationships with brokers and counter-parties; Liaise closely with the middle office, finance, risk and compliance functions; Assist with daily portfolio management, re-balancing and P&L monitoring.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years' proven experience in event-driven trading and investment research, preferably gained within a hedge fund or investment management environment; A relevant university degree; Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills; Advanced technical skills – proficiency in Excel, Python and SQL; Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; A highly proactive approach with ability to work effectively to deadlines.
