The Assistant Trust Officer is responsible for performing a range of client facing, operational and administrative duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office, and to assist Management as needed with both client issues and special projects. Key Job Accountabilities include assisting with a portfolio of trust clients, cash management, general banking, maintaining customer due diligence, generating cash reports, compiling financial information for annual trust statements, and overseeing Rental Income Registers. The role also involves administrative duties like opening trust client accounts, drafting trust documents, organizing meetings, and ensuring proper filing and record-keeping.

Requirements

University degree or at least 2 years in a similar role, with specific experience in a trust or accounting environment. Willingness to enroll in STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner) courses working toward a TEP designation. Competence in Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent written, analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
