Responsible for the management of all aspects of the Reservations department, in accordance with The Reefs' high standards. Major responsibilities include management of daily operations, handling guest room reservations, changes, cancellations and information via telephone and email, providing service to arriving guests (dinner reservations, taxi transfers, etc.), assisting with group sales and site visits, managing online booking systems and inventory, recruitment, training and continuous development of staff, and overall administration of property management systems.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience within a reservations team environment, preferably at a 4-star hotel or equivalent, including revenue management strategies. Working knowledge of all other departmental hotel operations. Proven track record of organizational skills, forward thinking, excellent time management. Computer Literate - solid understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, online programs and Property Management Systems. Knowledge of Springer Miller an asset. Willingness to work split shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
