The incumbent manages client pension data and financial accounts by reconciling bank statements, reporting on donations, and maintaining cash balances while facilitating client queries and assisting with year-end audits and senior leadership tasks.

Assistant Program Accountant is responsible for all data computing functions of the Mid Atlantic Wellness Institute (MWI) and its related business entities in respect of cash disbursements, including monitoring, controlling and reconciling of client’s personal accounts; including but not limited to Community Mental Health Accounts and Vocational Rehabilitation Programme Accounts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of, or progress toward, a recognised accounting or finance qualification; Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or equivalent would be an asset. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an accounting or finance office environment. Demonstrated experience in financial processing, reconciliations, or bookkeeping functions.
