The Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers, contractors and suppliers. Responsibilities include greeting walk-in customers, answering and directing calls, taking and entering block and ready-mix orders, processing payments, coordinating delivery bookings with dispatch, filing and general administrative support to the office and yard.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in reception, customer service or office administration, ideally in construction supply, trade or retail; Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with order entry or point-of-sale systems is an asset; Excellent telephone manner and written and verbal communication skills; Accurate cash handling and strong attention to detail; Ability to manage a busy front counter and multiple requests in a professional manner
