Our client, Pacific Life Re, is seeking a Manager, Corporate Actuarial (FCIA), Actuarial Analytics & Insights to join the Corporate Actuarial team, focusing on BMA requirements for the Savings & Retirement (S&R) business. Reporting to the AVP, Actuarial Analytics & Insights, S&R, this role offers a challenging variety of work, exposure to senior management and excellent opportunities to make positive contributions to S&R and CA. The role requires a good understanding of the Bermuda regulatory frameworks, particularly in respect of the Scenario-Based Approach (SBA) and Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement (BSCR), as the successful individual will play a key role in overseeing BMA requirements from an S&R perspective. This role would be responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with the BMA regulations and work closely with the rest of the reporting team to ensure regulatory reporting is submitted in an accurate and timely fashion.

Requirements

Qualified actuary with minimum of 5 years' experience in life insurance or life reinsurance. Knowledge of Bermuda regulatory frameworks, including the Insurance Act, Economic Balance Sheet (EBS), BSCR, and SBA frameworks. Experience preparing or supporting regulatory submissions, approvals, and reporting to the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA). Strong understanding of regulatory capital, solvency, and reporting requirements applicable to life and annuity insurers.
