Global Atlantic is looking for a Principal Actuary to join the Bermuda Actuarial team. This role will be based in our Hamilton, Bermuda office and will lead the Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) valuation process and BSCR determination. Key duties include leading the EBS Valuation team in producing Best Estimate Liabilities (BEL), serving as Approved Actuary, partnering with the Bermuda Embedded Value team, and translating technical results into decision-useful insight for management.

Requirements

12+ years' experience in the (re)insurance industry; FSA (or equivalent); Life and Annuity experience strongly preferred; Experience with Bermuda EBS framework; Knowledge of US GAAP and US Stat relating to life and/or annuities preferred; Strong technical and communication skills; Strong Excel knowledge (Power Query is a plus); Strong leadership skills.
