The AVP, Bermuda Risk contributes to the independent Risk function by supporting the analysis and management of insurance, ALM, investment and operational risks across our Bermuda organization. Reporting to the VP of the Bermuda Risk team, this position focuses on understanding, analyzing and reporting risk exposures. This individual will bring strong experience in annuity asset/liability modeling, market risk analysis, and Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirements, along with an understanding of operational risk management principles, to support the team’s risk management activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline required. 5 years in a diversified life insurance company or actuarial consulting firm required. Actuarial Qualification mandatory. Understanding of risk management principles, processes, and practices. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to independently lead workstreams.
