Bernina Re Ltd. is seeking to recruit a Lead Underwriter to underwrite multiple lines of business, including but not limited to: Property, Cyber, Aviation, Marine, Energy and Terror. The candidate will support the CUO in underwriting the Property Reinsurance and Retro books for Bernina Re, as well as take the lead on all Specialty lines. The candidate must be able to demonstrate success in underwriting all lines of business and articulate how they would achieve a profitable portfolio that meets investors risk tolerances.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of business. At least 3 years' experience in a similar role in an insurance/reinsurance company. Highly numerate and logical with strong mathematical/statistical knowledge. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work in a small office environment.
