Resolution Life is a global life insurance group focusing on reinsurance and the acquisition and management of portfolios of life insurance policies. The AVP, Financial Reporting will be responsible for developing and maintaining a financial reporting infrastructure to support the GAAP and Bermuda financial reporting requirements of the Company. Key responsibilities include leading the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial results, liaising with external auditors, performing analytical reviews, ensuring filing deadlines are met, and providing technical accounting guidance on complex transactions.

Requirements

A University Degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/ACA/ACCA qualification is required; Significant experience (5 to 10 years) in financial accounting on a US GAAP or IFRS basis; Prior experience in life insurance accounting is preferred; Considerable experience leading finance improvement processes; Extensive experience with technology solutions for finance functions with ability to code and automate processes; Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
