Play a key hands-on role in strengthening and evolving Bermuda's risk management framework, providing effective second line challenge across acquisitions and business activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, support strategic decision-making, and help protect the organization's assets, reputation, and resilience. Your impact includes leading and enhancing the Bermuda risk management framework, providing independent risk oversight, supporting acquisitions and portfolio integration, overseeing CISSA production, and strengthening operational resilience.

Requirements

10+ years' risk management experience within insurance or reinsurance. Professional risk certification and actuarial qualification preferred but not required. Deep knowledge of insurance regulation, governance, and risk frameworks. Experience with Solvency II, CISSA, BSCR, ORSA, and BMA requirements. Understanding of international insurance markets and legacy portfolios. Expertise in internal controls, audit practices, and risk assessment techniques. Knowledge of US Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and compliance standards.
