On behalf of our client, Forvis Mazars Limited, we are seeking an Associate Director, Insurance Risk Consulting, to join their advisory team. Successful candidates will support the development of Forvis Mazars’ actuarial consulting capability in Bermuda, building relationships across the insurance and reinsurance market. They will assist and lead the delivery of a wide range of client engagements related to risk consulting and risk reviews, actuarial valuation, appointed actuarial work, audit actuarial support, structuring and finance transformation.

Requirements

Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Casualty Actuarial Society, Institute of Actuaries or equivalent
Minimum 7 years’ actuarial experience with significant experience in the insurance industry
Experience leading project teams and managing complex workstreams across actuarial, finance, risk or transformation engagements
Particular experience in one or more of financial reporting transformation, IFRS 17, Solvency II, capital management, model risk, governance, insurance transactions or operational change Programmes is desirable
Demonstrated ability to develop senior client relationships and contribute to profitable business development activities.
Strong analytical, verbal and report writing skills and excellent computer-literacy skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and actuarial related software/tools
