Bermuda is one of the world’s leading markets for large corporate and specialty risks, and QBE is investing in a growing Property insurance platform at the heart of this market. Your new role involves underwriting insurance risks in accordance with the Business Plan, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and complying with QBE reinsurance strategy. US travel will be required.

Requirements

A minimum of 7 years’ proven experience in Property D&F underwriting in the Bermuda market; proficiency in Excel and underwriting tools; solid grasp of legal, regulatory, and risk profiling requirements; ability to influence and negotiate; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; relevant professional qualification or University degree.
