As Bermuda Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in SiriusPoint Bermuda Insurance Company Ltd.’s finance function, helping to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant reporting while supporting technical accounting, regulatory, audit, and process improvement activities across the Bermuda finance operation. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reporting, coordinating and preparing standalone GAAP financial statements and Bermuda Monetary Authority filings, and ongoing research of technical accounting, disclosure and reporting standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business; Internationally recognized accounting designation (CPA, ACA, CA or equivalent); Minimum of 4 years work experience with an existing (re)insurance company or with a big four public accounting firm, working with reinsurance company clients; Detailed technical knowledge and experience with US GAAP; Strong knowledge of BMA Filings and other regulatory requirements; Researching and documenting technical accounting matters; Experience working with segregated cell companies; High level of competency with Microsoft Office; Experience liaising with external auditors; Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills; Commitment to meeting deadlines and ability to work additional hours, weekends and public holidays, as required.
