PartnerRe is seeking a Senior Accountant for our Bermuda office on our Group Reporting & Accounting Policy team. Primary responsibilities include the preparation of U.S. GAAP financial statements, quarterly and annual Audit Committee presentations, and technical accounting memos. The role involves documentation of financial reporting and controls, research on technical accounting standards, and management of close calendars across global locations.

Requirements

Professional accounting designation - CA/CPA or equivalent
Minimum of 3-5 years of financial reporting experience in (re)insurance or a Big 4 accounting firm
Strong up-to-date technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP for life and non-life reinsurers
Experience in liaising with external auditors
Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, WDesk is an asset)
