Reporting to the Chief Pricing Officer, the Vice President of Pricing will support the underwriting and acceptance of reinsurance business for RGA's Bermuda-domiciled operating companies. The role will assist in evaluating new reinsurance, retrocession, and related transactions, with particular focus on pricing, risk, capital, collateral, liquidity, and regulatory considerations. The Vice President will partner with internal stakeholders across RGA, support engagement with the Bermuda Monetary Authority, contribute to the governance of the Bermuda legal entities, and act on behalf of the Chief Pricing Officer as delegated.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree; 10 years of relevant actuarial experience in life reinsurance in either a pricing, business development, valuation, capital or risk related role; Bermuda re/insurance industry knowledge; Must be a Fellow of a relevant Actuarial Professional Body (e.g. IFoA, SOA); Advanced oral and written communication skills; Advanced ability to recognize and articulate process improvement opportunities; Proven Ability to adapt to changing circumstances; Ability to appropriately balance priorities; Advanced ability to collaborate and liaise across disciplines; Advanced ability to translate business needs into technical solutions; Advanced understanding of reinsurance concepts and methods.
