Our client, Freisenbruch Insurance Services Ltd. (FIS), a local Bermudian company providing insurance, pension, and broking services to both the domestic and international marketplace, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pension & Life Team Lead to join their team. The Pension and Life Team Lead leads and develops the Pension and Life Administration teams, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service. The role oversees daily performance, coaching, and training, prepares regulatory reporting, and works closely with the Head of Pension, Life & Investments on annual business planning and goal setting. This position will directly report to the Head of Pension, Life and Investments.

Requirements

An undergraduate degree is preferred; however, extensive experience in leadership in pension and life administration will also be considered. Retirement/investment designation (FSRI, CFP, CSC, IFIC, Series 6/7) or willingness to complete within 18 months with extensive pension experience. Minimum 6 years’ life and/or pension administration experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or senior administration role. Strong knowledge of life insurance products, pension structures, and Bermuda’s regulatory environment. Demonstrated experience managing teams, including coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and SharePoint. Basic accounting knowledge related to receivables, reconciliations, and financial accuracy.
