Premia Reinsurance Ltd. ("Premia Re" or the "Company"), is a Bermuda based Class 4 specialty reinsurance company focused on acquiring non-life run off (re)insurance portfolios including acquiring companies in run-off worldwide and has operations in Bermuda, the United States, Lloyd's of London and Continental Europe.We are currently hiring for the role of Risk and Capital Analyst. The successful applicant will report to the AVP, Head of Risk, Capital and Financial Planning & Analysis and will be responsible for supporting Risk and Capital functions for the Company.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist with the Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement ("BSCR") modelling and reporting process.Assist with regulatory reporting requirements including the annual submission of the Group Solvency Self-Assessment ("GSSA") and Financial Condition Report ("FCR").Assist with the maintenance and updating of the Financial Planning & Analysis ("FP&A") model including scenario analysis to assess the impact of new transactions and assumptions on the model.Support the AVP, Head of Risk, Capital and FP&A monitor Group and Trust level environment investment compliance requirements.Support the AVP, Head of Risk, Capital and FP&A with the preparation and maintenance of the Bermuda Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM") Framework, Risk Appetite and Risk Register.Assist with the completion of periodic risk analysis including Asset and Liability Management, stress testing, ESG monitoring and reporting.Assist with the preparation of investment and risk related management information, board reports and presentations to external stakeholders.Assist with the development and maintenance of liquidity forecast models for different Trust environments.Support the AVP, Head of Risk, Capital and FP&A perform ad hoc projects and analysis as required.

Requirements

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Requirements:A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance; Accounting or Risk Management) and professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least 4 years of relevant experience at a "Big 4" accounting firm and/or in the reinsurance industry.Knowledge of the U.S. GAAP and Bermuda Statutory accounting treatment of various investment categories and classifications.Knowledge and experience with investment portfolio analysis, including experience with a broad range of fixed income, equity, and alternative investments.Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications with advanced skills in Excel including the ability to develop and maintain models.Ability to deliver results both independently and as part of a team, with a demonstrated ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours as required especially during quarter-end and year-end reporting.A relevant qualification in Risk Management, Capital, Investment and Financial modeling such as Financial Risk Manager ("FRM") or the Chartered Financial Analyst ("CFA") is preferred but is not required.Experience working with the Blackrock Aladdin Risk Tool is preferred but is not required.
