Reporting to the Bermuda Chief Accounting Officer, the Regulatory Reporting Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the financial reporting, accounting, and regulatory requirements of the Company's reinsurance business. This position is responsible for Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) reporting, reinsurance accounting, and the analysis of complex transactions while partnering across Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Investments, and Reinsurance teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a professional accounting designation such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of accounting and financial reporting experience within the life and annuity (re)insurance industry, including experience with BMA reporting under the BSCR and EBS frameworks. Strong technical knowledge of reinsurance accounting, regulatory reporting, and financial reporting requirements. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems. Experience with variable annuity products and BMA Class E regulatory filings. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Analysis for Office (AFO), Workiva, Power BI, or similar platforms.
