The Financial Controller is responsible for the management of accounting and financial reporting processes for the Authority and makes decisions regarding internal financial processing/accounting procedures in accordance with the Authority's Financial Instructions and other policies and procedures of the Authority. Responsibilities include providing a monthly suite of financial information, preparing ad-hoc reports for the CEO and board, monitoring financial and budgetary controls, assisting with the annual budgetary process, overseeing accounting staff and procurement, managing cash, payroll, AP/AR, and supporting the CFO with audits and compliance.

Requirements

Must be professionally qualified in accounting and be a full member in good standing of an internationally recognised accounting body and be eligible for membership with Chartered Professional Accountants of Bermuda (CPA Bermuda). A minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience and a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience. Must maintain membership with a recognised accounting body. Shortlisted applicants will go through a detailed security vetting process.
