The Regulatory Authority of Bermuda (the “RA”) invites applications for the role of Senior Manager, Energy. Reporting to the Director of Utility Regulation, the successful applicant will lead the economic, financial and analytical work that underpins the RA's regulation of the electricity and fuels sectors, and provide expert economic, financial and technical advice. This position also provides support for specific regulatory actions and determinations. Key duties include leading economic, financial and quantitative analysis, retail tariff reviews, and the development and implementation of fuel pricing methodologies.

Requirements

Accredited Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance (preferred), or in Electrical Engineering; Post-graduate degree in Economics, Finance, or Energy-related discipline; Membership with a registered professional body; Strong grounding in utility finance and regulatory economics; 3-5 years' extensive electricity, energy and/or fuels industry experience with at least 3 years' at a management or senior technical level; In-depth knowledge of regulated sectors and legislation; Experience in the fuels industry/regulation (3 years preferred).
