Chubb Tempest Reinsurance Ltd. invites applications for the position of Division President. Reporting to the SVP, Chubb Group and President, Chubb Tempest Re, this role involves direct underwriting responsibility of US book of property reinsurance and International book of property reinsurance and Specialty reinsurance. Responsibilities include managing a team of underwriters, establishing price decisions, setting strategic goals, marketing to clients, and overseeing actuarial, claims, IT and technical functions.

Requirements

Minimum of 20 years of relevant insurance or reinsurance experience; In depth understanding of reinsurance accounting and claims; A numerate degree from an accredited institution; Technical acumen pertaining to cat models and portfolio optimization; International experience required; Experience in all lines of Property and Casualty reinsurance; ARe or CPCU designation preferred; Extensive broker and client relationships; Experience in structuring and pricing reinsurance programs; Minimum of 5 years' experience leading and managing a team of senior underwriters; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to meet tight deadlines and work extended hours and weekends when required; Travel required.
