This role will be central to our actuarial function, with a primary focus on rate setting, while also supporting a broad range of actuarial initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to pricing, model development, and cross-functional projects that enhance our actuarial capabilities. This position will report to the Deputy Chief Actuary. Responsibilities include assembling, reviewing and validating pricing analysis input data; performing detailed analyses to support recurrent rate setting meetings; developing and maintaining pricing models; and presenting results to senior management.
Requirements
ASA or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Actuarial Science, or other numerate discipline. Minimum of at least 3 years of similar actuarial experience. Experience with US GAAP, US Stat or Bermuda EBS (including Solvency II or Canadian standards) preferred. Proficiency with Moody's Axis or other actuarial modeling software is required. Experience with data management in R, Python, or related languages is a plus.
