The Senior Vice President - U.S. Treaty Reinsurance will lead the underwriting strategy, portfolio performance, and technical pricing of a sophisticated U.S. property treaty reinsurance portfolio. This leadership role is responsible for originating, pricing, structuring, negotiating, and managing complex treaty reinsurance risks while ensuring disciplined portfolio management aligned with underwriting strategy, capital objectives, and return requirements.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of U.S. property treaty reinsurance underwriting experience, with deep expertise within East Coast markets.
Proven ability to build, mentor, and develop high-performing underwriting teams.
Experience designing and evaluating reinsurance and retrocession solutions.
Strong understanding of technical pricing, capital allocation, and portfolio optimization.
Proven track record in complex risk pricing, contract negotiation, and capital-based underwriting.
Experience developing portfolio plans and multi-year business forecasts.
Ability to work effectively with actuarial, pricing, finance, and legal teams.
Experience with AIR Touchstone and RMS RiskLink is highly desirable.
