Working closely with the Deputy Chief Risk Officer and the broader Investment Risk team, the successful candidate will support a wide range of investment related functions and may also assist other teams within the Group. This role includes day to day reporting, developing and monitoring key portfolio metrics, and supporting strategic and regulatory initiatives across the organization. Key responsibilities include providing independent oversight of investment portfolios, monitoring risk exposures (market, credit, liquidity, concentration, counterparty), supporting source of earnings analysis, and contributing to regulatory submissions like the BSCR Return.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related discipline. Professional designation including CFA, actuarial qualification or CPA/CA (active pursuit of financial designation will be considered). Meaningful experience in investment risk, portfolio management, or investment oversight within insurance, reinsurance, or asset management. Direct experience working with a Bermuda regulated life & annuity reinsurer is strongly preferred. High proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg or Aladdin is a plus.
