BNRE Services supports the wholly owned subsidiaries of Brookfield Reinsurance Ltd. Reporting into and working closely with the Senior Vice-President, Finance and the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Director will assist with financial reporting, investment accounting, reinsurance accounting and operations, capital management, financial planning and may be required to support other entities within the Brookfield Wealth Solutions ('BWS') Group. Responsibilities include oversight of investment/reinsurance accounting, process implementation, transaction execution for acquisitions, and board-level reporting.
Requirements
CA or CPA designation with at least 8 years of post-qualification work experience in finance functions with at least 5 years of experience in (re) Insurance. Strong knowledge of accounting for insurance/reinsurance under US GAAP. Highly analytical with leadership ability. Experience with Clearwater Analytics, Workiva and Microsoft Dynamics desirable. Experience in a life-reinsurance company strongly preferred.
