A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and a professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience. At least 5 years of (re)insurance experience, either with a 'Big 4' accounting firm or industry. Experience and proficiency in U.S. GAAP requirements for (re)insurance companies is a prerequisite. Experience and proficiency in Bermuda Statutory reporting and regulations is a prerequisite. Experience working at a (re)insurance company is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, OneStream and W-Desk is a prerequisite. Working knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and Belgium GAAP is advantageous. Very strong analytical, documentation, organizational, presentation and project management skills. Demonstrated managerial experience with capability of delivering results both independently and as part of a team, and a demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications, with advanced Excel skills.
