The Tech Lead will solve valuable problems for Arch Reinsurance by leading the design and delivery of the next generation of reinsurance systems. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role: you will build software, own technical decisions, guide your team's execution, while partnering with product and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes - not just features. Duties include leading a team of engineers, owning end-to-end technical design, partnering with product experts, and improving SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar subject or comparable work experience; 8 years of application development experience, including demonstrated technical leadership on complex initiatives; Proficiency in .NET Core/C#, SQL/Cosmos DB, React, TypeScript, and GitHub Copilot; Experience with domain driven design, event sourcing, Service Bus and Snowflake is a strong advantage; Comfort with asynchronous, event-driven architecture; Ability to travel and occasionally work outside business hours.
