Our client, SS&C Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd, a division of SS&C GlobeOp, is looking for 2 Associate Directors. The roles involve providing a high level of service by coordinating overall work plans of the accounting team, managing and monitoring work in progress for Fund and Reinsurance entities, and acting as the main contact person for clients. Primary responsibilities include reviewing and approving work products such as P&L, NAVs, and regulatory filings, valuing investment portfolios (equities, private equity, swaps, etc.), and assisting with external audit processes and client presentations. Due to the nature of the business, working overtime including some public holidays is required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent accounting designation; 8+ years’ recent post-qualified experience in Accounting or Back Office Operations working for a Fund Administrator, Investment Manager, or equivalent entity; 5+ years’ experience managing a service team in the financial services industry; Prior experience servicing various entity types such as reinsurers, hedge funds, and ILS Funds; Deep understanding of securities types and Bermuda regulatory statutory filings; Working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and partnership accounting; Experience in the use of Advent Geneva accounting software would be a distinct advantage.
