The Bermuda Shipping and Maritime Authority is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused professional to join our Registry Department as an Assistant Registrar of Shipping. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support one of the world's leading shipping registries while working with both local and international maritime clients. Key responsibilities include administering ship registration activities, maintaining registry data (BOSS system), managing radio licenses, assisting with accounts receivable, updating ITU ship station lists, and providing general administrative support.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in business administration, Commerce, Public Administration, Law, Accountancy, a technical discipline, or an equivalent qualification. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AI literacy. Willingness to work weekends and public holidays when required. Knowledge of ship registration and international trade is considered an asset.
