The successful candidate will form an integral part of the Specialty Reinsurance Underwriting Team in writing a profitable portfolio of reinsurance business with a strong focus on data and analytics to inform risk decisions. Responsibilities include building broker and client relationships, underwriting specialty reinsurance risks, managing the portfolio, and partnering with Risk Management teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree and/or (re)insurance designation strongly preferred. Minimum of 8 years of prior underwriting or broking experience required. Depth of experience within multiple Specialty Reinsurance lines (Marine & Energy, Aviation & Space, A&H). London & US market experience necessary. Proven understanding of client risk solutions and London market dynamics. Knowledge of insurance legal, compliance and regulatory environment.
