Under the direct supervision of a qualified Nurse, the Nurse’s Aide is responsible for assisting in providing ongoing training and assistance to patients in Mental Health Services. Key responsibilities include assisting patients in organizing their daily living activities, participating in patient’s programmes, organizing social and recreational activities, escorting patients to and from activities, and monitoring clients' physical/mental states.
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; Nursing Assistant Certificate required with two years’ experience in a hospital setting; registered with the Bermuda Nursing Council; Non-Combative Intervention Techniques (NCI) Certificate and CPR would be an asset.
