At Dementia Bermuda, our mission is to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia through support services, education, and advocacy. We are looking for a compassionate, energetic Registered Nurse who embodies our mission within a community setting. The successful candidate will function autonomously to deliver holistic nursing interventions to clients living in the community. The role acts as a bridge between the patient, family care partners, and a physician to reduce avoidable hospitalisations and maximise client quality of life.

Requirements

Licensure: Licensed with the Bermuda Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience caring for people living with dementia, with 5 years or more preferred. Strong clinical judgement and the ability to work independently are essential.
Clinical Skills: Competencies in Infection Control, Moving and Handling, and dementia care.
Technical Proficiencies: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and phlebotomy/IV therapy skills.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Driving License: Valid Bermuda driver's license.
