Our client, Robertson's Drug Store, invites applications for a Pharmacy Manager to join their team. This role will oversee the operations and development of the pharmacy department including but not limited to reviewing and executing physician's prescriptions, checking their appropriateness/legality, ordering and maintaining medication and maintenance of appropriate inventory controls within the pharmacy, billing of insurance claims, pharmacy claims reconciliation and resolving discrepancies, providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with medical-related issues and providing healthcare counseling, resolving customer issues and complaints, conducting the interviewing, hiring, training of new and existing pharmacy staff. Staying updated with professional obligations as required by the licensing body, Pharmacy Council. Managing store and staff in absence of store manager as needed.

Requirements

The successful candidate will hold a pharmacy degree with a minimum of three (3) years retail experience and previous management experience. The ability to be an effective team player, working with all staff and ability to work independently, accurately and be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Excellent references and clean criminal background required.
