The role involves planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and promoting patient, family, community and staff education for the assigned directorate. It includes establishing educational goals, staff competencies, and assisting with orientation and professional development.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Master's (Nursing and or Education) preferred. Proven ability in developing/facilitating modules designed to expedite adult learning. Competent with all technology required for presentations. Minimum of five (5) years recent relevant Medical Surgical experience. Demonstrated superior communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills. CPR Instructor, Moving & Handling Instructor, preceptor, an asset. Must be proficient in MS Office 365 application and electronic medical record.
