We seek qualified, highly motivated, and experienced professionals to work in a supportive but demanding environment. Key responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and promoting patient, family, community and staff education for the assigned directorate, establishing educational goals and objectives, assisting with orientation and ongoing clinical and professional development of staff, routinely assessing learning needs, organizing in-service education, and participating in hospital/community health fairs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Master’s (Nursing and or Education) preferred. Proven ability in developing/facilitating modules designed to expedite adult learning. Minimum of five (5) years recent relevant Medical Surgical experience. CPR Instructor, Moving & Handling Instructor, preceptor, an asset. Proficient in MS Office 365 application and electronic medical record.
